The NHS is changing the way that it provides care, so that patients can get the right treatment at the right time.

This means that there will be fewer outpatient appointments available in some areas of England and Wales.

This is because many people will be able to receive care at home or at a community health centre instead.

This doesn’t mean that you won’t be able to get an appointment with your doctor, but it does mean that if you need one,

you may have to wait longer for it than you would normally expect.
